Purpose of Dream Job project

(Development Relationship in European Apprenticeship Methodologies to Join Organizational Best Practices).

Dream Job Project aims at starting the systematisation at a European level of all experiences connected to apprenticeship, through the establishment of a permanent European Centre, aiming at collecting, synthesising and transferring approaches, methodologies, instruments and experiences obtained from professional training for apprenticeship. This will be based on a network of national centres supported by both local and regional institutions that have within their work placement life long learning promotion policies. More specifically, the project hypothesis foresees:

  • The creation of a networked European Resource Centre and a virtual library to support the activities of apprenticeship’s operators (trainers, tutors, mentors, etc) and of the institutional structures proposed to define de directions and programming on the subject;
  • The systematisation and synthesis of the selected and classified experiences following the indicators shared by the network;
  • The comparison and the synthesis of the approaches to apprenticeship;
  • The production of materials and tools (glossary, case studies, good praxis repertories etc);
  • The opening of permanent diffusion channels general and specific of the results of the different areas of study in relation to the different contexts of destination;
  • The next widening of the network, aiming at reaching both UE countries and candidates to join UE.

Target

  • the training, counselling and orientation operators in apprenticeship.
  • The experts of the sector, both public and private;
  • The institutional operators (public, private, social parts);
  • The operators of employment, orientation, evaluation and management of the personnel systems;
  • The enterprises (SME in particular), and within them those figures (tutor, mentor responsible of human resources etc.);
  • The apprentices.

The portal

It’s the virtual place where the concept of transnational network takes form; in the portal all the elaborations and collected materials will flow; the contents, accessible in the partner’s own language, will be structured following this modalities: Library (containing information about texts, experiences, lows, good practices), the Glossary of technical terms, news and useful links. The portal will offer the access of FAQ, Newsgroup, Agenda services. The Agenda will contain seminars and workshops concerning apprenticeship.
